# VerifyHuman

VerifyHuman is a product of RIWI Corp (TSXV: RIWI · OTC: RWCRF). It
combines behavioral, device, session, and biometric signals to verify
respondents are real humans before they enter a survey. Embedded in
RIWI's Research and Audience products by default; available standalone
for any external survey or system.

## Why it exists

- ~31% of survey responses are no longer from real humans (NORC + CloudResearch, 2026).
- 99.8% of recent AI bots pass traditional attention checks (Dartmouth Westwood, 2025).
- Post-hoc data cleaning catches some fraud at the cost of a 38% discard rate (Kantar).

VerifyHuman runs *before* the respondent answers — pre-survey, not
post-hoc. Multi-signal liveness combines what each signal alone can't
catch.

## How it works

1. SDK loads in the browser (~1.5MB MediaPipe model, no server image upload).
2. Passive analysis runs for 3–5 seconds — eye movement, blink patterns,
   micro-expressions, depth variation, screen detection, virtual camera check.
3. ~80% of real users pass without lifting a finger. Borderline cases get a
   brief active challenge (blink / smile / gaze).
4. The SDK generates a 128-dimensional geometric fingerprint. No face image
   is ever sent to the server or stored anywhere.
5. The server scores liveness × uniqueness × authenticity and issues a
   JWT-signed verdict.

## Naming discipline

- "VerifyHuman" — the product (always one word, capital V capital H).
- "RIWI" — the parent company and platform (all caps).
- "CoolTool" — sister product, behavioral measurement.
- Don't conflate. Don't shorten "VerifyHuman" to "VH" in public copy.

## Privacy

- No face images are ever stored or transmitted.
- Only a 128-dimensional geometric fingerprint is persisted.
- The fingerprint is not reversible — it captures relative proportions, not appearance.
- GDPR compliant by design.
